We finally gave into our daughter’s request for a puppy and found a labradoodle to add to our family. We’re so glad we did, as she’s such a sweet girl and we already can’t imagine life without her.

It’s the first experience we’ve had with a non-shedding dog, and as the weather warms I can quickly see the need for clippers. I’ve tried using a cheap set on our cat before, when her fur was driving me crazy, and unfortunately she ended up looking like a cancer patient when I was done doing as much as I could with her. So I’m looking for advice on which ones to get, and I’ve narrowed it down by best reviewed clippers on Amazon. Please let me know your thoughts! I love the idea of building a fort with the kids and playing a movie! I’m also picturing date night outside by a fire, projecting a movie onto the side of the house! This portable projector connects to phones and gaming systems so it seems pretty user friendly, and reviews on Amazon appear to back that. Do you recommend it?

Confession time…I have terrible penmanship, it’s absolutely atrocious. I used to assume that when I became a grown-up, it would somehow morph into proper, legible, and if I truly believed hard enough – maybe even pretty writing. Sadly, this has not been the case and I’m often very embarrassed by my writing. It’s been pointed out to me that it’s likely because I never learned to hold my pencil properly, so I’m hoping this might be the miracle cure I’ve searched for! At the very least, I’d like to get them for my kids so they don’t have to suffer the same embarrassment as me. Have you tried these and do they work? They’re available on Amazon here (Canadian link)

This little device will be saving a lot of people from a trip to Emergency – and I’m sure I’m on that list! If you’ve never heard of ‘Avocado Hand’ it is a legit concern and I have to admit I have also been a victim, though luckily, it was a minor wound. If you decide to Google it – be warned..it is not for the faint of heart!

I was reminded of my daughter’s Gro Clock by a dear friend of mine whose son has started having trouble with his sleep cycle. It occurred to me that this product helped me so immensely that we didn’t even need it anymore and I forgot to take a moment to truly appreciate it! My oldest daughter would have woken every morning at four o’clock without this intervention, and with a new baby I was almost done for! So I definitely recommend it for anyone whose kids are not sleeping well or waking too early.
