These giant bubble wands look like so much fun! My kids love bubbles so I’m hoping something like this will keep them busy for hours…and these days we can all use items that do that! I just discovered that this is a thing and I couldn’t be more excited!!! I love the idea of creating our own tattoos with the kids and I’m even picturing businesses putting their logos on them – anyone for a Llama logo tattoo?

I hate ticks – BIG TIME, they’re creepy and transmit diseases like Lyme disease which doesn’t sound like any fun at all. I’m constantly terrified in the summer since finding some in the yard and even a few in the house. After doing some research, I’ve decided that a chemical called permethrin is the product for me! It’s what they use for scabies and lice and is much less toxic than DEET. It also kills the ticks instead of simply repelling them which is a huge perk for me! This spray, available on Amazon here (unfortunately it is not available in Canada yet) will last on clothes for six weeks (or six washes), doesn’t stain, is odourless and safe to be sprayed on dogs (though it is very toxic to cats!). If you do find that a tick has penetrated this defence and you discover one embedded on you or your pet, quick removal is important and this Tick Tornado product removes them quickly and effectively. We love camping and hiking! Unfortunately we haven’t done much of it since we had kids but we’re hoping that changes soon! My husband bought one of these Lifestraws but we’ve never had a reason to use it yet, so I’d like to know your experiences with them! They seem like the kind of thing that everyone should have and would make a good add-on or small gift. I’ve always been guilty of buying cheap sandals and paying the price for it. I was whining to my friend about my poor battered feet and she told me about these Sandals. I shelled out more money than I have ever spent on sandals (though, lets face it, it really wasn’t that much!) and I have never looked back. These are worth every penny and more in my opinion! The only possible downside is that you can’t just slip them on, but the extra ten seconds are no hassle since you can spend all day in these beauties. Let’s face it, kids today are getting way more screen time that ever before and studies are showing that it is having harmful effects. One of the problems are blue light is absorbed more in children’s eyes and can cause premature aging and retina damage. I love the idea of this compact griddle, and while it may not work for a large family it is perfect for small spaces! This would make an awesome gift for a kid going to college, a newlywed couple or a single person living on their own. Channel your inner Michael Scott and wake up to the smell of bacon…just try not to step on it…

Lego tape?!!! Absolutely! Actually, I’m surprised that it has taken so long for this to be invented – it’s going to take everyone’s lego game to a whole new level. I’m hoping it also keeps the pieces from being scattered all over the floor!

I need a new phone. My current phone’s memory isn’t big enough for all the pics and videos of my kids and I’m too stubborn to get a new one because my plan will go up. However I’m at the stage where if I don’t plug mine in at the magical angle, it won’t charge and it’s too old to use one of these chargers. I’m hoping to eventually find a used one for a good price. Since I’m stuck in my ways, I’ll be looking for a new-to-me Apple phone that has at least 64g of memory and is an 8 or newer so I can use a wireless charging device!
